First training as a machine and system operator

November 2004:
The Richard Wöhr GmbH produces as the first manufacturer standard keyboards for hygienically demanding areas with antimicrobial and germicidal foil surface under the name "Hygienic keyboards".

In continuation new standard enclosures and keyboards and suitable accessories are included in the program to meet the rising demands.

2005:

New in the program: standard membrane keys with integrated lighting in blue, red, yellow or green.

2006: Develop models of success, expansion with a feel for the market

The enclosure series are supplemented by new models and versions. In this way, they are more and more options for the customer, depending on branches, environment and application.

May 2006:
Start with new construction. This single investment project, which is up to this moment the biggest in the company history, creates additional 1.500 square meters for the areas mechanics, keyboard construction, CAD/AV and screen printing.

The profile enclosure series PrioLine® was extended by another basic construction in the area of hand-held enclosures.

2007:

Juli 2007:
Another certification acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and
DIN EN ISO 13485 (medicine).

WÖHR turns 40 years young and has become in these years a worldwide operating, versatilely active enterprise. The company anniversary is celebrated at the 13. July in the Kurhaus in Schömberg with all employees and business partners.

We recognize the trend towards touch screens and develop “Touch screen solutions of WÖHR®”.
